When you create an ad placement, advertisers using placement targeting will be able to see it when searching for places on which to display their ads, either by topic, keywords, or categories.
Along with the name and description of specific placements you've defined, each publisher website in the AdSense network is automatically made available to advertisers as a placement where they can target their ads.
